Some of the stuff the kids have been saying lately has helped keep things light around here …
Micah has decided that he absolutely LOVES "straw-ee-babies" (strawberries)
And, Sam, when praying for his Newill cousins last night, prayed:
…and please be with Jesse and Becky and Emma-Kate and help them to grow… to grow… to grow into… wise… men….um… whofollowstars. Amen.

The past couple of weeks have seen the kids say some really sweet and funny things. I’ve posted them on Facebook, but they get lost there. These are things that I want to remember forever. So, posted here, they are!
Kiera:
Kiera’s reading abilities exceed her vocabulary, so her pronunciation gets a bit muddled at times. Here are some of the things she has said recently…
She saw a baby bottle in Pick ‘n Pay yesterday and wanted to know what an "insulted" bottle was (insulated).
Another time she wanted to know if she could write her "internationals" on her wellington boots (initials).
Today, after jumping out her spelling words, she sank into the chair and announced, "I’m aw-gusted!" (exhausted).
Sam:
Sam: (small, anxious voice behind me in the car) Mom, I never want to grow up to be a man.
Mom: why not, Sam?
Sam: because, I just always want to be with you!
I know all kids say this at some stage, but it never fails to melt my heart!!
