Because so many posts have been written on this subject on this blog and it looks like it may end up being a regular topic in the future, I’ve decided to create a page dedicated to the topic.
Our interest in this topic has developed in fits and starts since we had our first child, 5 years ago. Since then we’ve wavered between being “pro-” to “anti-” to “I have no idea right now-” immunisation. The information out there is often conflicting and confusing. However, I’ve recently begun to really go in depth in terms of trying to get to the bottom of the claims anti-immunisation vaccination groups are making. What are they saying? What are their claims based on? Are they valid? What is their motivation? Is there truth in what they are saying? What about the contrary claims the pro-immunisation groups are making? What is their motivation? Is it the truth?
At the moment of writing this, I am beginning to be more and more dissuaded that the status quo (immunisation is right and good) is really the truth. There are just too many stories, too many cases, too much evidence mounting up that contradicts the status quo – too much to be able to categorically state that all is well in the world of immunisation vaccinations.
I am in the midst of uncovering and discovering. In the meantime, I’m posting what I’m finding from time to time. The plan is to keep this page as up-to-date as possible with latest information and updates as well as links to previous posts.
Keep posted!
UPDATE – 11 May 2008: I have received and watched Dr Tenpenny’s DVD – Vaccines: What CDC documents and science reveal My posts entitled “Vaccinations and the CDC” cover a lot of what Dr Tenpenny uncovers in her seminar – however, I strongly recommend that you watch the DVD yourselves. You are welcome to watch my copy or buy your own from Amazon.
Links to previous posts can all be found in the immunisation category. Click here or under the category list on the right hand side bar.
Links to webpages detailing information about vaccinations:
Vaccination Liberation Information (An information site which is where I found the ingredients of vaccination information: http://users.adelphia.net/~cdc/MSDSwithVaxInsertInfo.pdf)
Vaccination Awareness Network (A UK site begun by a mother)
Vaccination Risk Awareness Network (I haven’t read much from this site, but it seems to be the Canadian equivalent of the sites above)
Informed Choice (A balanced site that looks into all aspects of vaccination issues, updating, it seems, with the latest information and findings)
Making an informed decision this webpage has detailed information about the history of vaccinations; links to abortions; mercury content; the mercury debate; package inserts; ingredients; scientific studies - both past and present; cervical cancer vaccinations etc. A good place to start investigating, it would seem.
